Flooding Downtown. Though no buildings were significantly damaged when flood waters backed up through the downtown storm sewers, a number of businesses are having financial difficulties due to loss of stock and slow sales in the storm's aftermath. Most of the embattled stores are locally-owned, but a few chain stores are also considering pulling out if profits remain low.
