How To Play

It's a good idea to start by discussing the scenario with the other players to try and find mutually beneficial options. Once you know what you want the group to do, make a proposal and try to persuade the other players to support it.

Proposals

To create a proposal, select it in the list and press "Propose". If the proposal has options to specify, edit the configuration and press "OK".

You can only make one proposal at a time, and you can only make a particular proposal once. You can amend or retract your proposal, but once it has been resolved, you cannot propose a new version of it.

Only one version of a proposal can be on the table at a time. If someone else has proposed a different version, you can try and persuade them to retract or amend their version, or you can propose a new version if the vote on theirs fails.

Voting

When you are ready to vote on a proposal, switch to the vote tab and press the corresponding button. This will start the vote and cast your vote in favor of the proposal. If another player calls for a vote, you'll be automatically switched to the vote tab.

You get one vote on each proposal. In addition, you have "favors" that can be spent for extra votes. If you vote more than once, the system will automatically spend favors for the extra votes. You can't take votes or favors back, so think before you vote.

The vote ends when everyone's vote timers run out. You can press the "Done" button to finish your timer immediately. Everyone's timers reset whenever a vote is cast.

After a vote ends, a proposal will be enacted if it has more votes for it than against it, and vice-versa. If the vote is tied, the proposal is tabled, unresolved. You will get another vote if a vote is called for on a tabled proposal.

Ending

The turn ends when there are no more proposals that can be voted on. You can also end the turn by passing the "End Turn" proposal.

If you have budget left over at the end of the turn, half of what remains (rounded down) will be added to the budget for next turn. Favors do not carry over from turn to turn; you get new favors each turn.

The goal of the game is to make sure that your city is a place you want to live. After each turn (there are three), you should ask yourself how you like your town, and how things could be improved.
